Technology alone cannot solve problems in education, but technology married with quality content and passionate educators, can provide an incredibly engaging and motivating venue for learning. This site provides an overview of the distance learning programs and communities that have been created and implemented at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in K-12, higher education and informal education settings. The GSFC Distance Learning team has built a portfolio of distance learning infrastructures and work with Goddard's passionate educators, scientists and engineers to deliver Goddard's unique STEM content to the educational community. Each distance learning effort is aligned with the broader goals of NASA Education's mission and the specific learning goals of parterning programs. The examples highlighted on this website are meant to demonstrate the potentially powerful impact educational technology can have on learning environments.
