In the NASA Office of Education, we have a lot of special events that we plan and implement. Events include live chats, videoconference connections with astronauts, International Space Station downlink communications with students and much more. With the staggering number of missions in Earth science, planetary exploration and understanding our universe, satellite launches happen fairly often, opening opportunities for teachable moments and special events focused on the STEM currucular concepts involved in mission success.
